Description
System restarts after four seconds in a continuous loop.
Resolution
Follow these steps:
- While restarting your computer, continuously press the F8 key until you get the Windows logo on screen.
- After the boot menu appears on screen, release the F8 key and select Safe Mode.
- When Windows boots into Safe Mode, go to the Search box,type sysdm.cpl, and then open sysdm.cpl from the search results.
- Navigate to the Advanced tab and select Settings under Start-up and Recovery.
- Uncheck the Automatically restart check box.
Note | Consider enablingthe Write an event to the system log check box if not already checked. Click OKand again restart your computer. |
